STAFF from Scottish Widows in Edinburgh have raised £30,000 for a children's charity after taking part in a series of challenges.
The employees tested physical and mental endurance during the challenges, which took place in the summer, in order to raise the cash for Children 1st, which helps vulnerable children and their families across Scotland.

Scottish Widows managing director for operations, Christian Torkington, said: "We are extremely proud of the performance of all our teams and their fundraising efforts. It is a fan-tastic achievement to raise £30,000."
