BEER giant Heineken has appointed a new boss for Edinburgh-based Scottish & Newcastle UK.
The Dutch firm has appointed current commerce director Stefan Orlowski to replace Jeremy Blood, who left the company last month.

It is thought that Heineken had been keen to have one of its own men at the helm at S&N UK's headquarters at South Gyle.

Mr Orlowski said the new job was "a compelling personal and professional opportunity".
