ALLY McCOIST insists celebrations are back on hold until as Rangers chase a domestic double at Hampden tomorrow.
The early part of the week was spent basking in their Clydesdale Bank Premier League success after clinching the championship on the final day, ending a four-year wait for the title to return to Ibrox.
But McCoist has told Falkirk they can forget
about any complacency on Rangers' part in the Homecoming Scottish Cup final tomorrow, claiming they will be fully focused on their defence of the trophy.
"It's not difficult to turn our thoughts to the cup final because of the importance of the game and the fact we've got a fantastic opportunity to win a league and cup double," said the assistant boss. "Last week at Tannadice was very, very special and I felt the players deserved it because of the way they approached it and the way they played. They were entitled to a few days of excitement afterwards.
"But the importance of the game is a great thing and brings us all back down to earth. We've still got unfinished business in the shape of the Scottish Cup and we want to lift that too."
Falkirk were also celebrating in the final weekend of the league campaign when a dramatic win over Inverness saw them retain their SPL status.
"There are maybe a few teams I'd rather be playing rather than Falkirk in this final," admitted McCoist. "Arguably, on their day, they pass the ball as well as anybody in the league. But also they will be flying after the weekend they've had."
