PRINCE WILLIAM has returned from a secret visit to meet British troops in Afghanistan this week.
The prince, 25, flew a military transport plane for part of the journey from the UK to Kandahar, where he spent three hours meeting service personnel, above.

Royal watchers and British troops today questioned whether Monday's visit was anything more than a PR exercise. Some suggested it may have been organised to get positive headlines following controversy over the prince being allowed to fly military helicopters to a stag do on the Isle of Wight and his girlfriend Kate Middleton's family home.

Former royal protection officer Ken Wharfe said: "I think the cynics amongst us will say it's an attempt to cover up the Chinook jollies."

#2,

CBL will pin the piece of tin on wee willie himself. He'll be able to look Harry in the eye once again!

Mind you, wasn't it proved that Harry's alleged Afghan jaunt was filmed by the BBC in Morocco in 2006?

I'm of the opinion that Wullie and his brother would never have joined the Forces if their mother was still alive. No wonder she had to go. This would not have happened otherwise!

After his Choppering in to see his woman, he needed some good publicity. How stupid do they think we are?

Don't they rule the U.K. and you're all their subjects? How dare you question the Sovereign's use of the equipment they allow to be used for your projection, er protection.

#9... No! They dont rule anywhere in the UK. They are constitutional figureheads without any power whatsoever. They are also scroungers spoungers, and layabouts of the worst kind.
