They should start by reassesing their own unbelievable generous scheme,the most generous in the EU,which we pay for.

i agree. How much and when? He said only around 17,000 of the 30,000 eligible pensioners are actually receiving the benefit.

And where does the money given out go?

Has anyone tried claiming any kind of government benefit latley? It's nigh on impossible. I was on jobseekers for a couple of months a while back and it took about that long just to fill in the forms. No wonder pensioners are being put off applying for the pension credit. Means-testing - good in principle, a nightmare in practice.
