Gordie Brown says "I want Britain to be seen as a country of fairness and tolerance," .. clearly the pensioners are protesting in the Wrong Place - Get yourselves on 'Big Brother' to 'Have your say' ! Polydor should bid to produce 'Prime Minister's Question Time'; it might bring some sense of reality to the contestants Lives !

One of the pair meeting outside Parliament was someone who briefly entranced the country but will soon slide into obscurity, and the other was a Bollywood starlet.

Bollywood actress V Pensioners, what was Shipla campaigning for? It must have been something important to get 90 MPs to sign up. Frank Field's call for an English Parliament attracted four signatures three of whom thought they were signing autograph books. I am most amazed that the pensioners thought that by campaigning for a fair deal, MPs, their representatives, would take any notice. Silly old blighters

Of course Blair wanted to meet Shipla or whatever her name is, instead of the pensioners. Shipla is a z-list celebrity and the pensioners aren't celebrities at all.

The more that excuse for a man does, the more he annoys me. What is he still doing in power anyway? Impeach the b*****d!

I can see why the PM and others wanted to meet Shilpa. Britain ruled India for more than 200 years. Since independence 60 years ago, India has become a giant economic and military power. Britain needs trade with and investment from India. So 6 minutes of PM's time will go a long way to show Indians that he cares how they are treated in GB. The posters before me have missed the point completely.

The point Azsul is that we care about our pensioners who worked all their lives to make this country what it is today. It was a real slap in the face for them that the PM showed he did not care about the dire poverty our most vulnerable old people are now experiencing.

That is the point Azsul.

#6. A good point. But the problem is more immediate. If Labour want to win, they will need to win over the 50 somethings, many of whom no doubt had parents standing outside Parliament yesterday.

The treatment of the elderly in this country is shameful.

In a week when another soldier bites the dust .The 45 min lie! Another tainted figure emerges fom the fermenting broth- "DAZ" all we needed was PRESA(2J) MANDY BYERS ROBINSON and not forgetting BLUNKY in attendance. No moral fibre .All PENSIONERS should use the Vote while they still have one to finally nail this bunch.

Cherie wears Indian clothes to hide her legs; he probably got the wrong woman.

He certainly wouldn't want to meet victims of company pension schemes which have been torpedoed by the Inland Revenue and the Treasury and not regulated as they should have been by authorities.

#12's comment. I'm no English teacher, but I count 26 spelling and grammar mistakes in your 43 word, puerile little ramble. 60% of your prose was incorrect. Well Done! Why spell the, as tha? Why spell like, as lyke? I know off topic, but I can't be the only person left in Britain who gets incensed by this brainless way of now talking and writing!

Talk about a storm in a teacup !! Give the man a break, will you? He probably wanted to peek through the crack of Shilpa's saree ! Surely, everyone is entitled to these little thrills in life. After all, how long has Mr.Blair to go until his time is up. You lot are a bunch of party-poopers. I say chill out, will you, guys? Sure, the pensioners need a look in too but to choose between the pensioners and Shilpa is a no-brainer. Pensioners are not going away anytime soon but Shilpa might not be around in London for too long.
