THE NEW leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats will be unveiled today.
Three contenders have been campaigning for the top job since the surprise resignation of Nicol Stephen early last month.

Former transport minister Tavish Scott, West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine MSP Mike Rumbles and ex-environment minister Ross Finnie have taken their message across the country in hustings events in recent weeks.

All three leadership hopefuls will be at Murrayfield Stadium this afternoon when the new leader of the party is unveiled.

Scotland needs a lib dem party that can transform itself from the mess it is now in. Unfortunately they have lost their way and have been lead down the garden path by stephen. Unfortunately scott is the favourite and he will probably carry on leading the party to oblivion.

I'll be voting UKIP in the Glenrothes by-election.

I hope you will be doing the same. We need to show this lot that Scotland wants UKIP.
