HARRY POTTER creator JK Rowling says she will continue with the formula that made her the world's best-selling author.
The Merchiston-based writer, who is rumoured to have been working on a detective novel, said: "I'll continue writing for children because that's what I enjoy."

And she has returned to the type of setting where she penned her first magical tale – city cafes.

"I am very good at finding a suitable cafe," she said. "I blend into the crowd and, of course, I don't sit in the middle of the bar staring all around me. In 90 per cent of the cases, it's the cafe's staff who allow me to work without being bothered."

She also confirmed her next work will not involve Harry or Hogwarts. "I believe that it's good for me and good for my readers that I bring myself to work on something different," she said.

Ever considered employing a fact checker, Hootsmon?

Mr. H 2u

please employ a fact checker. J.K. Rowlings 7 harry potter novels have collectively sold over 400million copies worldwide.

you were useing a outdated source. also, the goosebump books were not all written by R.L. Stine but most where outlined by Stine and ghost written by other writers. Also, R.L. Stine was popular before jk rowling, but has since faded from the top spot. while the goosebumps books still are read. it should also be noted, only 62 goosebumps series books were created. beyond that, other series were started that when added up, far outstrip the 80 books you got, further proving how outdated your source was.
