THE Livingston branch of Original Shoe Company is to close, resulting in 14 job losses.
Administrators of JJB Sports subsidiary OSC confirmed that the branch is among another eight that are to be closed. Another two branches of footwear chain Qube, also a JJB subsidiary, will also close.

The closures are to lead to another 121 job losses. It follows the 438 redundancies that followed soon after administrator Deloitte was appointed last month.

The new closures, which also included branches in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Greenock, leave only 19 OSC and three Qube stores still trading.

Blair Nimmo, joint administrator and head of restructuring for Deloitte in Scotland, said: "We are still considering our options and are in dialogue with interested parties for the remaining business.

"However, the strategy as to the remaining stores is being reviewed on a daily basis, although further store closures are likely."

The Shop Shop is where you go to report folk for fiddling.
