Celebrity chef faces hare-coursing charges

CELEBRITY chef Clarissa Dickson Wright and racehorse trainer Sir Mark Prescott are facing charges relating to alleged hare coursing.
The pair are facing a private prosecution by the International Fund for Animal Welfare. The 60-year-old Edinburgh-based chef and Sir Mark each face allegations of hunting hares with dogs at two events near Malton, North Yorkshire, in March.

They are each due to answer a summons at Scarborough Magistrates Court in North Yorkshire on November 9.

They also face charges of attending these events.

Hare coursing was outlawed at the same time as fox hunting with hounds.

Clarissa Dickson-Wrightis a toffee-nosed snob it's been my misfortune to meet in other comany!

I believe she would be mixed up in this sort of thing. Throw the book at her and stick her in jail. It's only be making examples of people like her, will the message get through that we won't tolerate animal abuse any more!

overbearing pompous twit came out supporting animal
cruelty she can take what's coming to her, and I hope she is made an example of to you and your ilk.

Could it be a coincidence that this happens just as she's got a new book out?

And, #4, it's not just toffs who participate in this 'sport'. I know someone who used to work in admin at the vet school who bred deerhounds for it.

I wonder how far she would get if someone set the hounds on her?

#2 If you insist on spouting drivel, then at least spell and punctuate it correctly!

As other posts have stated: hare-coursing is illegal in this country. They have both broken the law.
