ONLINE gaming company 888 Holdings today fuelled speculation over a possible merger in the ailing industry.
The internet gambling firm admitted it had been talking to third parties following a US ban on online betting, but did not identify the companies involved.
The statement followed weekend reports that 888 and Party Poker owner PartyGaming had been in talks about a £1.6 billion merger.
