PROTESTERS gathered outside the HBOS headquarters on the Mound to make their feelings known at the Government's bailout of UK banks.
Yesterday's rally was held to object to the amount of taxpayers' money being spent on supporting banks through the credit crisis.
It was organised largely on websites such as indymedia and facebook, where organisers predicted that the bailout would cause rising unemployment, lower wages and higher bills.
Demonstrators demanded greater investment in public services.
