TRAM workers have replaced misleading signs put up as part of a temporary one-way system on Leith Walk.
The offending signs originally stated there was no access to Leith Walk via Lorne Street from Easter Road.

There actually is, but only for southbound traffic.

The two-week one-way project, which will allow engineers to divert utility services that cross the road rather than run along its length, got under way last Monday and affects Leith Walk between Dalmeny Street and Manderston Street.

Plans to create free parking spaces on council-owned land along Leith Walk were last week dropped when no suitable sites could be found.

If that is the only problem the trams have made then great! I take it there are no other problems being caused by this tram line?

No. There are no other problems. None whatsoever. Have a look on these pages. Everyone is deliriously happy.

#3 Yup, I knew this venture was so well planned that there would be very few problems. To be honest I am not so sure this "misleading" sign was actually anything to do with the tram line. So if we ignore this then everything in the garden is rosy. Got to go, nurse is coming to give me my medication and lossen the straps on my straight jacket as I can hardly type.
