Elephant polo sponsor plea

A CITY charity is calling for a whisky firm to end its association with the sport of elephant polo.
Advocates for Animals claims that cruel metal bullhooks have been used, though Scotland team sponsor Chivas Brothers denies this.

The charity's Ross Minett said: "There is surely no justification for using these highly intelligent animals in this so-called 'sport'."
