A BUTCHER who helped invent a new pie to promote Tollcross has sold more than 500 in the past week.
John Saunderson came up the idea for the Tollcross "Chilli" Pie with deli owner Dougie Bell.

The pie is now being sold in seven Tollcross outlets and has proved so popular with locals that Mr Saunderson is close to running out of pastry cases for the pies.
