DAVID BECKHAM attended a private meeting with Gordon Brown at 10 Downing Street.
The pair chatted for almost an hour last night.

The footballer is thought to be keen to assist the English bid to host the 2018 World Cup.

The Prime Minister is expected to visit the star's football academy in London tomorrow.
