AC MILAN general manager Adriano Galliani hopes to extend David Beckham's loan deal with the Serie A side until June.
Galliani is then aiming to sign the midfielder on a permanent basis next year, with Beckham set to be available on a free transfer from November 30.

The former England captain is due to return to Los Angeles Galaxy on March 9 after moving to the San Siro in January.

"Negotiations are getting more intense. I hope to manage to arrange for him to stay here at least until June 30 on loan," Galliani said.

"Then he could return to Los Angeles and come back in January. It's a complicated path, as we have always known, but I'm trying."
