INFANT Korean sisters joined at the lower back will undergo separation surgery at Singapore’s Raffles Hospital - despite a recent failed attempt to separate conjoined Iranian twins.
The four-month-old twins, Sa Rang and Ji Hye, could go into surgery as early as this week.

The procedure would come just two weeks after twins Ladan and Laleh Bijani, born joined at the head, died at Raffles during an attempt to separate them.

President Mohammad Khatami has pledged to pay the costs of the Korean twins’ operation, estimated at about £80,000.
