Utah: Twin four-year-old girls who were born fused at the mid-torso have been released from a US hospital, six weeks after separation surgery lasting 26 hours.
Kendra and Maliyah Herrin left a hospital in Salt Lake City yesterday in the arms of their parents.

Pittsburgh: Five US basketball players were shot inside a university campus, leaving at least one critically injured, after some of them tried to calm a man who apparently had been disruptive at a dance, officials said.
