Brian Torry, 30, a civil servant from Leith, gives his top five sites to photograph in Edinburgh.
The Royal Botanical Garden The variety of shapes and colours is amazing.

The Royal Mile Even after the festival performers are gone there is still the great architecture like St Giles' and Holyrood Palace.

Edinburgh Zoo The interaction and charm of the animals never fails to appeal.

The Forth Bridge It's an iconic structure, and the views from South Queensferry are fantastic.

The Water of Leith A great walk, with plenty of chances to get good wildlife shots, as well as some interesting views of the city.
