PROTESTERS dressed as Prime Minister Gordon Brown were set to stage a demonstration at Edinburgh Airport today.
The protest was part of a day of action to raise awareness of the impact flying has on climate change.

And the group was to call on Gordon Brown and local MPs to pay more attention to emissions from aeroplanes and shipping.

Across the UK around 131 groups were expected to urge the Government to ensure that the new Climate Change Law covers all sources of climate changing emissions.

We need to follow the German example of trucks with water-canon. Not only would they sweep these malcontents into the gutters but would give them a decent wash into the bargain. I wonder how far they all walked to get to Edinburgh Airport?
