A NEW loan-funding scheme has been set up in West Lothian to help local businesses.
The West Lothian Loan Fund offers gap funding of up to £30,000 to support small and medium sized firms.
The fund will be operated by West Lothian Enterprise and eligible projects include new products/services, new manufacturing processes, quality improvements and new e-commerce systems.
Martyn Day, the council's development and transport leader, said: "The new loan fund will be of great benefit to the local business community."
