Swearing and loud music leads to Asbo

AN interim Asbo has been granted against a tenant after he was alleged to have played excessively loud music and shouted and sworn at his neighbours.
East Lothian Council won the order against William Godsell, 53, of Eskview Crescent, Musselburgh, at Haddington Sheriff Court.

It was also alleged he had shouted and sworn at council employees in Brunton Hall, Musselburgh, and separately made inappropriate and unacceptable remarks to council staff.

The antisocial behaviour was said to have taken place from around June 2006 to March 31 this year. The next hearing is to take place next month, when it will be decided whether a full Asbo should be granted.

isn,t that just typical of Edinburgh council, obvious that this person was non ethnic, I say this because for 16 months at my previous property, I reported anti social behaviour I suffered from a family that stayed above my flat, the council asbo team said that the noise wasn,t bad enough to take action against them, despite the fact that on a number of times when I had officers in my property, they even heard for themselves, in my opinion, these asbos are only to be dealt towards the non ethnic majority in Edinburgh, by the way, am the same person who,s name and address was found outside in Chessar Avenue council office, I still never got a written apology from the council either for that matter
am just only too glad that am no longer staying in Edinburgh, the council up there are completely useless

by the way, I dont mean it to sound as if I was racist, but it does look as if the non ethnic people does get away with anti social behaviour most of the time

Musselburgh is in East Lothian. It says so in the feature.

does it really matter where it is, these councils whether Edinburgh, Musselbrough or where ever are all the same when it comes to asbo,s, when has there been anti social behaviour orders been brought against the noisy non ethnic people, and don,t tell me that you don,t have them in the Lothians, in my opinion, it,s all a sham and more stringent laws should be brought out to combat the anti social behaviour problems, as I suffered as mentioned in my first post on this site, I take this matter personal AND WITHOUT SOUNDING TO BE RACIST AS WELL
