FRUSTRATED commuters in Currie were left standing at a bus stop for a bus that was never to come after route diversions were not properly advertised.
Currie Community Councillors heard how diversions caused by the Curriehill Road/Lanark Road junction closure rerouted the number 45 service.

However, no notice was placed at the bus stop and and passengers had long waits before realising. The council will now be taking the matter up with Lothian Buses.

Community councillors will also be investigating the possibility of a new footpath from the Corslet Stone to the Kirk Gate.

not to currie.

Give Lothian Buses there dues, they normally have information posted on their buses, at bus stops and on the their website.

Maybe some at the Council forgot to tell them, the info on their wesbite was posted 3 days after the Road Closure?
