Cyclist who died in lorry crash named
THE cyclist who died in a road accident with a lorry in Edinburgh has been named by police.
Iain Wilson, 35, from Duddingston, was killed in the collision as he turned left into Nicolson Street from West Richmond Street at 9.30am on Tuesday.
Lothian and Borders Police have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses to the crash to contact them.
The fatal accident is the latest in a series of incidents involving cyclists in the Capital.
Last week, a man escaped with a broken ankle after being trapped under the wheels of a coach carrying children in Tollcross.
Earlier in the month, a cyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a car in Roseburn near Murrayfield Stadium.
