SCHOOLS, community groups and businesses from across Scotland have donned their PJs to help families at a new capital children's hospital get a good night's rest.

Hundreds took part in Ronald McDonald House Charities’ annual PJ Day campaign to raise money for the independent charity which provides free “home away from home” accommodation to families with sick children in hospitals across the UK.

Edinburgh will become home to the 15th Ronald McDonald House later this year when the new 25-bedroom House opens at the Royal Hospital for Children & Young People.
