Missing Edinburgh man: Police concerned for 41 year old man last seen in the Capital over a week ago

An appeal has been launched to help trace a man last seen in Edinburgh over a week ago.

Michael Meehan was last seen in the Morningside area of Edinburgh around 12.55pm on August, 17 and there are concerns for his welfare.

He has been descried as six foot tall, slim build with short and bushy eyebrows.

He also has an Irish accent and was wearing a black jacket, blue shorts and black trainers.

Michael has connections to Tayside and was sighted near to Dundee Airport on August 21. He may also be in the Perth Area.

In an online statement, Police Scotland added: “Anyone who may have seen Michael since this time, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1641 of 22/08/22.”
