PASSENGERS were evacuated from a train at Haymarket Station yesterday following a small fire.

The 10.38am ScotRail train from Inveraray to Haymarket arrived on time but encountered difficulties when it reached Edinburgh.

A spokeswoman for the fire service said there was a small fire within the axle block and that the train was going to be moved to the nearby Russell Road depot.
