Haddington win 3-1 on pens THIS was a huge scalp for Haddington. Gary Sutherland glanced a header to put St Andrews ahead after 27 minutes and Haddington found the going harder when Jackie Myles was sent off early in the second half but they equalised in the 80th minute when a Kevin Bracks effort was blocked back out to him and he slammed it home. St Andrews then had Kris Brash and Kevin Fotheringham sent off. Haddington held their nerve to win the penalty shoot-out. Myles then added a second for Broughty in the 38th minute. Penicuik hit the woodwork twice before Thomson got one back for the home side. The scores were levelled against the run of play when Charles Pearson bundled a poor Franny Carlin punch into the net. King then hit the bar and missed a penalty.
